Del Carmen is one of the municipalities of Siargao Island. It has a total land area of 20,189 hectares with 20 barangays, and population of 11,789. Its agricultural products include copra and rice. It is equipped with communication facilities that include Philcom, PLDT, Telecom and Handheld Radios with bases. It has numerous fine white beaches. The most popular of which is CAUB.
